This is a photo of myself, my youngest sister and my brothers girlfriend (Left to right) which was taken on Saturday night. I love this photo, when I saw it I was totally struck by how different we all are yet how beautiful.
When I see another person I see how gorgeous and perfectly made they were by God. Unfortunately seeing myself that way is a constant struggle although it is something I am working on.
Obviously I love make-up and today I feel it is important to remind ourselves that it shouldn’t be used to hide behind but as an aid to natural beauty. Choosing colours that compliment your skin and hair is so important. I am also a lover of using eyeliner to frame the most beautiful part of any woman and blusher to make the most of amazing cheek bones.
I always admire the women that know they are stunning and wear themselves with pride without hiding behind 101 make up products.
Ladies, today I dare you to embrace your natural beauty and lose the mask you hide behind. You are beautiful! Tomorrow I challenge you to go somewhere (work, school run, anywhere) make up free and send me your photos to tams.watt@hotmail.com for a post of all the women who know they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
